Leadership Development

The Challenge: Through our US partner, DecisionWise, we are supporting a leadership development programme for executive roles in a media and communications global business. The company has extensive growth plans and needs a leadership team working together and effectively to deliver against this challenging strategic goal.

DecisionWise is supporting the US business’ leadership programme, and QCG, as its UK and Northern European partner organisation, is working on the programme at the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) HQ in London.

Our Approach: All participants have been assessed through a DecisionWise/QCG 360° feedback tool and taken part in a range of psychometric tests. Each participant has then been able to choose a coach who from QCG’s coaching panel. The coaches support participants by providing feedback on the results of the 360° survey and psychometric tests, helping them to understand the implications of the results for them in their role and conduct, and supporting them to create their personal development plan.

In the case of the EMEA leadership team, QCG has identified a need for improved top team working. We are now facilitating two Executive Team Development sessions.

The Outcome: In the interim, individuals on the programme are expressing high levels of satisfaction that the programme is supporting them in identifying how their actions, ways of working and behaviours impact on others and how they can work more effectively in support of the organisation’s purpose and goals as a whole.
