On the 1st July 2022 we announced we were joining the Personal Group family. Mark joined QCG in June 2022; he is a reward professional with over twenty years experience both as a consultant and as an in-house specialist, most recently in the not-for-profit and charity sectors. Mark’s reward expertise includes pay benchmarking, role and structural design, job evaluation and employee engagement.
Mark holds a BA in History and an MA in Heritage Studies and is, predictably enough, a bit of a history buff, he is an avid reader of weird fiction, is fond of food and wine (WSET qualified for the latter, for what that’s worth!), and is a supporter of Liverpool FC. He is also a member of the Hospital Saturday Fund Association.
Marisa is a reward specialist, helping organisations design and implement pay and grading systems which support both employee engagement and organisational strategy. Her areas of expertise include; job evaluation, pay and grading design, pay benchmarking, employee value propositions, employee engagement, performance management, and designing and facilitating senior leader workshops to help drive change and embed practice.
She has spent more than 15 years working across the public and private sectors, combining her HR and psychology training, reward knowledge and client experience to successfully deliver projects for sustainable outcomes both as a Management Consultant for a global consulting firm and also as an independent.
Marisa is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Fellow of the British Psychological Society, as well as CIPD qualified. In her spare time, Marisa is a Trustee on a Multi Academy Trust in Buckinghamshire and enjoys going for walks and watching Sci-Fi movies and television series with her family.
Paula has worked in senior HR roles in a variety of sectors including financial services, retail and transport in both private and public organisations. She has more than 30 years' experience, spending the last 15 years in reward director roles. Her experience in reward and benefits spans incentive design, share schemes, pay structures, job evaluation, executive reward and remuneration committees.
She also has experience in employee relations, industrial relations, policy, developing people strategies, mergers/acquisitions, performance management and employee engagement. More recently during the pandemic, Paula has developed agile working approaches to reflect chan
Paula has a degree in psychology, post grad diploma in HR and is a fellow of the CIPD. When not at work she enjoys travelling (recently within the UK) and visiting heritage sites. She also likes to keep fit, running and doing HIIT workouts, mainly so she can then indulge in home baking.
Sandra has an extensive track record of leading HR and business transformation through developing and implementing innovative HR reward and benefits policies at global, regional and country level in a global energy company. With over 30 years HR experience, including more than 20 years in senior reward and benefits roles, she also has Board and Trustee experience as a Company Director.
Her expertise includes policy; job evaluation; pay design/structures; pay benchmarking; allowances; benefits; international mobility; mergers, acquisitions and divestments; incentive plans; equal pay/gender pay gap, and performance management, all in the context of Total Reward strategy and the wider Employee Value Proposition. Sandra is passionate about developing engaging reward communications and improving understanding of reward amongst HR colleagues, business leaders and employees.
All of this is underpinned by a grounded and practical approach gained through a range of HR manager and business partner positions, including heavy industrial/employee relations roles. Sandra is a Fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD) and as a winner of the Reward & Employee Benefits Association (REBA) Financial Wellbeing Awards in 2018, has judged the REBA Employee Wellbeing Awards in 2019 and 2020.
Lisanne joined QCG in May 2022 as a Junior Consultant after working in various HR roles. She completed her MSc in Business Psychology from University College London in November 2019, earning a distinction. In her latest role before joining QCG she was working as an interim HR Payroll and Process consultant in the construction sector. Lisanne is conducting analyses and research pieces for QCG including pay dispersion, benchmarking and other elements of reward diagnostic work.
Lisanne’s mission is to create a workplace where employees feel valued and enabled to use their unique gifts to reach their full potential. Outside of work you will most likely find Lisanne in the gym lifting some weights, or discovering London. She also likes playing tennis, reading non-fiction and spending time with friends and family.
Steph joined QCG in February 2023 having previously held various HR business partnering roles in the retail and utilities sectors. She has broad HR generalist experience, particularly in employee relations (restructuring activity, casework, trade unions, TUPE etc) and people analytics. At QCG, she enjoys being able to draw on her in-house HR experience to help solve clients’ challenges.
Prior to working in HR, Steph studied Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Nottingham. She is an Associate member of the CIPD (Assoc CIPD) and is set to complete her post-graduate CIPD degree in 2023. In her free time, you’ll find Steph playing netball, walking her dog Pluto, or catching up with friends and family.
