What is the consultation process?
QCG would start a project by engaging with the client Reward project team to fully understand what the underlying issues are and make suggestions or challenges as appropriate. We would typically follow this up with an assessment of internal documents and employee data to fully understand internal reward policies and practice.
This understanding would be broadened by engaging with key stakeholder groups to understand their experience and concerns with the current approach to manage reward. This involves a series of individual conversations and focus groups with key stakeholder groups such as members of the HR and reward team, senior leaders, employees, trade unions and/or other employee representation bodies.
The findings from these exercises will often be combined with additional analyses (for example, benchmarking current salary grades against external market sources, analysis of current internal pay dispersion and diversity and equality analysis) to make up a Diagnostic report.
